Our PURPOSE:

To use the power of public art as a positive catalyst in helping build and sustain more inclusive, engaged, and vibrant communities for all. 

Our MISSION:

To advocate, incubate, and create unique and powerful works of public art that inspire community audiences to tap into their innate capacity for kindness, compassion, and generosity (acts of humanity*) in order to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of others and the communities in which they live. 

Our Approach:

We will pursue our Mission by:

• Advocating (through our web & social media  as well as personal/real life interactions),  the use of public art as a tool for inspiring greater acts of humanity and creating more inclusive, engaged, and vibrant communities,
• Building a network of creative and talented visual and public artists ("Artful Rebels") who are passionate about using their art in positive and public ways to create stronger communities,
• Helping nurture and facilitate community and Artful Rebel Network partnership and collaboration opportunities,   
•  Creating and delivering programs and events that advance the appreciation, creation, and use of visual and public art as a means of inspiring audiences and communities to use  kindness, compassion, and generosity to make the world a better place for all,
• Directly producing, commissioning, installing and/or exhibiting  new works of public art in partnership and collaboration with a community as may be desirable, feasible, and appropriate to our efforts to make strong progress towards achieving our Mission.
