“Rebel”:

1. A person who stands up for what they believe is right; not against what is right. 
2. A person who stands up for their own personal opinion despite what anyone else says.

“Werks”: 

1. The things that must be done (tasks, jobs, chores). 
2. Lines of work (professions). 
3. Places of work. 
4.  Results of work (products/outcomes).

Humanitarianism/Humanitarian/Acts of Humanity

Anchored in the deep belief in the value of ALL human life (i.e., Humanity). A Humanitarian chooses to live and act in ways that support preserving, nurturing, and bettering human life and life experiences for all. A humanitarian’s beliefs may be have founded in altruistic, moral, and/or logical reasons but no matter how  they were founded , a great majority of humanitarians share a belief in the power of “Acts of humanity” (i.e., kindness, compassion ,and generosity) and their ability to positively impact the quality of life experienced and enjoyed by all.

Artful Rebel

An Artful Rebel is an artist and a humanitarian. They have a passion to create works of art that inspire audiences to use their innate capacity for kindness, compassion, and generosity to improve the lives of others. The Artful Rebel is a unique brand of “ARTIVIST”; one who is committed to using their creative works in positive and impactful way to make the world, and all of its communities,  more fully engaged, vibrant, and inclusive places for people to live, work, and enjoy the journey of life.
